At Lund University, I am an Associate Professor in Educational Sciences with special expertise in higher education. I am also a guest Professor both at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, and at Kabale University in Uganda. In addition, I am the national coordinator of the research school of SPETS (Studies on Professional Education and Training for Society), which is run in collaboration between Lund University (host), Chalmers University of Technology, Malmö University, and University of Borås.

My main area of research is "doctoral education", and I am also a national and international educational developer in the same area. In relation to this field, my expertise is specifically profiled towards strengthening democracy, human rights, critical thinking and creativity.
