International visit to explore collaboration on teaching policy

The Department of Educational Sciences recently welcomed a delegation from Okayama University and Yokohama National University in Japan. The visit focused on exploring potential collaboration on the development of teaching policy at both national and international levels.

Professor Mitsunobu Kano serves on UNESCO’s Scientific Advisory Board for the International Basic Sciences Programme (IBSP) for the period 2025–2027. In this role, he works to strengthen international collaboration in basic sciences and innovation.

Professor Chie Sato is an innovation strategist and visiting professor at the Institute for Multidisciplinary Science at Yokohama National University. She is the founder of Biztech Inc. and has extensive experience leading international innovation and collaboration projects across academia, industry, the public sector and civil society.

Shusuke Mimura is a research coordinator and social studies teacher at Okayama University Junior High School. His work focuses on educational development, social sciences and collaboration between schools and research.
