Time to apply for the spring courses in higher educational development

Are you teaching at Lund University and want to further develop? Deepen your pedagogical competence through AHU's educational development courses this spring! The deadline for applications for the spring courses is November 28, 2023, but you are welcome to apply late as long as there are available course spots.

You can find the spring course offerings below. Several of the courses are offered in both English and Swedish, as well as in various formats: onsite, online, or a combination of both.

Those courses offered in English include:

Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (Online, 2 w)
Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (Blended, 2 w)
Teaching and Learning – Extension (Online, 1 w)
Course Design in Higher Education (Blended, 3 w)
Teaching Portfolio (Blended, 1 w)
Integrating Sustainability Competencies in Curriculum (1 w)
Project Course – Higher Education Development (3 w)

Eligibility for permanent teaching positions at Lund University requires a minimum of five weeks of pedagogical training. Furthermore, in order to supervise doctoral students a course on supervision is required. Doctoral students who teach are required, at least, two weeks.

Additional courses are offered in Swedish.
