Born in 1970, ThD, adjunct Professor of Church History.
Since September 2020, I am adjunct Professor of Church history at Lund University. My research primarily focuses on aspects of modern and early modern European religious history and practical theology. Current fields of interest include:
- Material culture, secularizationand and religious mobilization in twentieth century northern Europe
- East-West networks during the Cold war
- Early modern religious historiography
- Existential sustainability
I am in the process of editing several anthologies covering issues such as Enlightenment and confessional culture, modernity and revivalism and the uses of historical sources. I am the current editor of the scholarly series Bibliotheca historico-ecclesiastica Lundensis and belong to the editorial team of Kirchliche Zeitgeschichte. I chair the Lund research seminar in Church history and Practical theology.
